3 Ways to Ring In Spring

3 Ways to Ring In Spring

A new season is upon us and we couldn't be more excited. Spring is our favorite season for fresh starts, fresh produce, and (of course) sipping our freshest, most crisp wines. Here are three ways we're celebrating:

1. Cooking with Spring Produce

March is still all about hearty greens, root veggies and alliums—since the weather is still a bit chilly, we love making soups and cozy rice bowls to wake up our spring tastebuds.

In season for March:

Arugula, Kale, Leeks, Mushrooms, Radishes, Spinach, Beets, Onions, Turnips, Herbs

For recipe inspiration, we love turning to Vegetable Literacy by Deborah Madison, Whole Food Cooking Everyday by Amy Chaplin, and Salad For President by Julia Sherman.

2. Spring Cleaning

There's nothing like that first spring day when you open up all the windows in your house and dive into some deep cleaning. A good playlist is essential. We asked our friend Christine to put together a mix for us.

3. Sipping the wines of the season

We love a light, crisp sip as the weather warms up... but there's still plenty of opportunities to drink red, too! Spring is that perfect in-between season when we want to drink both! Our recommendation? Grab our Spring Edit, which includes 3 bottles each of Rosé, White and Sparkling (it's perfect for brunches, dinners and casual weeknight wind downs). Then, add on a red or two that you love.
