Sales Director, South Central

I'm Matt Szura, VP Sales. We're looking to expand our sales team with a strong Sales Director based in Texas. The Sales Director will be responsible for establishing and ensuring delivery of Avaline's annual wholesale business plan across the South Central US.

 

What You'll Do:

      • Maintain and develop key account relationships to ensure distribution, consistent programming, and flawless execution in the marketplace.
      • Build the annual business plans for each market including depletions, pricing, distribution, and activation plans to achieve each brand/market goal.
      • Educate distributor sales personnel on the Avaline portfolio and brand standards through consistent communication and distributor presentations.
      • Monitor and evaluate distributor performance against market goals.
      • Lead monthly or quarterly business conversations with distributor management teams. Frequency depends on market relevance and size.
      • Monitor and control volume and brand spend.
      • Work with distributor salespeople and management to execute programs efficiently and effectively, through regular communication including in the field.
      • Maintain and develop key account relationships to ensure distribution, consistent programming, and flawless execution in the marketplace.
      • Use market data to identify opportunities; share insights with the Avaline team and distributor sales teams.
      • Monitor and control distributor inventory and assist distributors in placing orders for shipments. Review monthly depletion reports to ensure accuracy.

Who You Are:

      • Experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex information to essential actionable points.
      • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
      • Proficient computer skills (G-Suite, MS Office) and competence in electronic communications, including video meetings.
      • Exceptional planning and organization skills with an ability to multitask.
      • Positive attitude, dynamic personality, and consultative sales skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area OR equivalent years working experience in related area in lieu of degree required.
      • Minimum of 5-7 years distributor management (RNDC strongly preferred).
      • Minimum of 3 years of key account management. 
      • A combination of on and off premise experience is preferred.
      • Must reside in Texas.
