Paid Media Designer (Contract)
Avaline is seeking a talented Paid Media Designer to support our Marketing Team on a contract basis. This role will focus on designing 10–15 Meta ads per week while also producing creative assets for programmatic display, Google Ads, Instacart, and potentially other paid social platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our growth marketing manager, agency and brand teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand, and performance-optimized creative.
This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US.
What You'll Do:
- Design 10–15 Meta ads weekly (static images, carousels, and short-form videos).
- Create digital ad assets for programmatic display, Google Ads, Instacart, and additional paid social channels as needed.
- Write performance - focused copy to accompany digital ad assets that aligns with brand voice.
- Adapt brand visuals and messaging to suit different platforms, formats, and performance goals.
- Stay up to date on trends and best practices across all major ad platforms.
- Incorporate performance data and feedback to iterate and improve creative.
- Organize and deliver all final assets on time for ad placement.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience creating digital advertising assets across Meta and other ad platforms.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Understanding of digital advertising specs and performance-driven design principles.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines independently.
- A portfolio showcasing diverse digital ad creative work.
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with DTC, CPG, or lifestyle brands.
- Basic knowledge of A/B testing creative for ad performance.
The Paid Media Designer position comes with a billable pay rate of $4,000-$6,000 per month for 15-25 hours per week (60-100 hours monthly).
