The grapes: Grenache is a smooth red grape that thrives in the growing climates of the Languedoc region of France. It's often blended into red wines, but on its own this grape offers silky black cherry and jam flavor profiles with cozy hints of cinnamon and clove.

Jacques Frelin Vignobles:

Jacques Frelin Vignobles is a family-owned winery with a legacy that began in the 1960s with Claude Frelin, a winemaker who switched from conventional chemical methods to natural practices in his vineyards. In 1983, Jacques Frelin, Claude's son-in-law, founded the winery as it is known today, inspired by Claude’s efforts to promote a more environmentally-friendly way of winemaking. Today, the winery is led by Carole Frelin, Jacques’s daughter and Claude’s granddaughter, surrounded by an all-female team. Together, they make organic wines in the family tradition while infusing their methods with modern practices.
