Triple-Spiced Red Spritz
Craving something a little different this weekend? So are we! This Triple-Spiced Spritz will hit the spot. Warm, comforting spices like star anise, cardamom and cinnamon mix together with our Red for a sip that tastes as delicious as it’ll make your kitchen smell.
The best part is that you can use the same syrup for our Poached Pears recipe, so why not make an evening out of it—dessert & your signature cocktail are taken care of!

Directions:
To make the syrup, combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and let it cook down until it has the consistency of honey—this takes quite awhile, so we suggest reading a good book while you wait.
Once the syrup is done, let it cool. You can keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
When you're ready to make your spritz, rub a sprig of rosemary around the rim of your glass to infuse a little flavor and aroma. Then, add a generous tablespoon of the syrup and half of the sparkling water to your glass. Stir until well mixed and then add the remained sparkling water. Top with a splash of Avaline Red. Add a sprig of rosemary if you'd like for garnish, and sip away!
