Juicy organic tomatoes, fragrant basil, good olive oil, and a drizzle of balsamic come together on toasted baguette slices for an appetizer that's as effortless as it is delicious.

Pair it with a chilled glass of Avaline Rosé and serve it for long lunches, spontaneous get-togethers, or any moment worth savoring.

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh baguette, sliced
  • 3–4 organic tomatoes, diced
  • Fresh basil, torn
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar
  • Flaky sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

How to Make

Toast baguette slices until golden. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, basil, a generous drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spoon onto the toasted bread and finish with a drizzle of balsamic. Serve immediately alongside a chilled glass of Avaline Rosé.
